Prof. Rho-Shin Myong Received KSAS Chul Park Aerodynamics Award and Journal Article Citation Award

Professor Rho Shin Myong (also director of the Research Center for Aircraft Core Technology) at Gyeongsang National University was awarded the ‘KSAS Chul Park Aerodynamics Award’, a prestigious award of the Korean Society for Aeronautical and Space Sciences (KSAS), at the KSAS fall conference held at the Ramada Plaza Jeju Hotel from the 16th to the 18th, November 2022. He gave an award lecture titled “Non-equilibrium Aerothermodynamics: Modeling Hypersonic and Rarefied Aerodynamics.”

The KSAS Chul Park Aerodynamics Award honors the achievements of Dr. Chul Park of the NASA Ames Research Center (1964-1994), a world-renowned aerospace engineer born in Korea, in the field of aerodynamics. This award is given to Korean researchers at home and abroad who have made outstanding contributions to the development of science and technology in the field of aerodynamics and its applications.

In addition, Professor Myong won the 2022 Journal Article Citation Award of the IJASS (SCIE) journal jointly published by KSAS and Springer.
